When you say goodbye to your best friend or your loved one because you wont be seeing them for a day it is never easy. So how do you say goodbye to a blog that I have now outgrown?
Saying Goodbye Is Never Easy
Letting go and moving on is sometimes too hard to do, and when you have a blog that is almost like a best friend, or a family member… how can I about saying goodbye to Healthy Lifestyle Challenge? Its a huge decision that I have been trying to make for over two weeks. Do I stay or Do I go?
Its Time To Go
After thinking long and hard I realised that I have outgrown this blog with what I wanted to do and I was stuck within the limits that the blog setup was able to give me. I have so many wonderful followers and I wanted to give them a better look – a fresh new website. So its with great difficulty and a huge sigh that I am saying Goodbye here and Hello to…..(Drum Roll Please)

Exciting news at Healthy Lifestyle Challenge – with fantastic news for this weeks Weight Loss Diary. Last week I mentioned that I had put on 1/2 kilo and was determined to work towards achieving a weight loss this week. This week I lost weight, kept it off and know how to lose more next week.

You can find out more about how to lose weight the healthy way, without tablets or expensive meal replacements – you know the ones….Drinks that are meant to be taken instead of one meal by going to ”The Coconut Diet” free forum. Its a place where others share their use of the Coconut Oil with yummy easy to make recipes and shares success stories on weight loss. There are also many other great ways to use the oil, with many different reasons why to use the oil. There is even a section on using the Coconut Oil for head lice!!
Meditation For Weight Loss
If you are after the Meditation I use called “Bikini Body” that is easy to listen to and can be used while sleeping…one which I use twice a day for my Weight Loss and love falling to sleep with, and one which is assisting my weight loss – then use the following image to take you to your copy. It is amazing how much the effect the Meditation is having on my mindset. It is helping me to make more healthier choices with my food and to cut down on my meal sizes.

Weight Loss Success
So after using the Coconut Oil and the Bikini Body Meditation for one week I lost 1.3 kilos – much better than the previous week results. Next week I will be updating with more Weight Loss here with my Diary.

After a week of going live with my new Healthy Lifestyle Challenge of putting out there that I will be writing about my Weight Loss Diary online I thought I would share with you my update.
Weight Loss Diary Update Week 1
I was so very disappointed when I went to the gym for my monthly weigh-in to find out I had put on weight. Not only weight but also measurements in my arms, legs, butt and bust!! Now please tell me how that is possible….. to put weight and measurement all over (including my butt/bust!!) after walking so much every morning and going to the gym? Here is my vlog on my week….
Weight Loss Hints/Tips Help!
If after watching the above video on my Weight Loss Diary Update and listening to my questions about weight-loss and you have any suggestions with how to help this week be a better week could I please ask a small favor and have you comment below or on YouTube? I would gladly take on board any ideas you have, providing that your ideas are Natural, and do not involve taking tablets or having a meal replacement. I believe in eating healthy food and do not believe in relying on the drug company to assist my body. With Weight Loss it is not a wonder drug that I am after, but more of a Healthy Lifestyle Challenge that I seek.
Diary Entry.
After a week of walking, eating healthy food, and going to the gym I was very disappointed in my weight gain. I started to question why this was so, and then to reason in my mind all the excuses that I could think of !! Then I have realised it might have something to do with night shift work – crazy sleep hours, crazy wake hours and then crazy eating hours. So this week coming up I am staying away from the chocolate and staying away from too many cups of coffee and eating more protein enriched foods. I am also going to introduce a new vegetable that I normally eat now and then …… and eat daily to see if that will assist my body to lose weight.
New Vegetable To My Weightloss Challenge
I have heard that Eggplant is a really good vegetable to be eating to assist with weight-loss but never thought to eat it daily. So I researched its benefits and read up on how good Eggplant is for the body. This is my new experiment – to eat eggplant daily for seven days, then to jump onto the scales to see if there is any difference in my weight. It will be interesting to see what happens!! I will be sure to share with you here in my Weight Loss Diary Update the results.

Sunday 17th October 2010
Healthy Lifestyle Challenge has decided that enough is enough and wants to share her journey with being accountable for losing weight with a Weight Loss Diary.
First Entry In Weight Loss Diary…….
Sunday – a day of rest!!! Normally it is a day that I love because I try to sleep in and spend quality time with family. Today I came home around 8.30am after working night shift. I work so close to the beach, and am finished work by 6.00 am so I get to go for a walk along the beach. Today was magical – the sun was out, the sky was clear and the surf was amazing. So many surfers were out on there boards, enjoying the change of weather. It was still cold and windy while walking, but was so refreshing.
Weight Loss Start
When I got home David had breakfast ready for me. I had a sandwich during the night – a egg sandwich and was really paying for it. I need to be careful when eating bread, and usually have to eat Rye bread. I decided to see how I would go with wholemeal bread and ate it. Soon afterwards I had stomach pains….which continued until after my walk.
Sunday Weight Loss Diary Entry
Breakfast – Porridge with fresh brewed coffee. So love my coffee when its freshly brewed and organic.
Lunch time – slept through lunch and woke at 4.00 pm to have a toasted cheese/tabouli made on Rye bread.
Dinner will be Vegetarian Bolognese. Need to have my fruit for the day so will be taking that to work with me. Also take yogurt which I will be eating for my snack around 3.30am. I so love chocolate – its my one weakness so I am going to be fighting the urge to buy chocolate for my snack!!
Before I have dinner tonight I will be drinking 2 tablespoon of Coconut Oil one hour before eating. It taste so very bad, and I have to block my nose to be able to drink it so that I do not feel ill straight after. So why take the Coconut Oil you might be asking? Because it helps with losing weight and to gives me more energy. Weird I know but I have been reading about it and thought I would give it a try. It really works. I am willing to try anything that is natural to help on my new challenge – and share here with Weight Loss Diary.
Weight Loss Easy?
Its not easy to lose weight and I have to be very conscious of what I eat every single day. I would love to eat desserts all day long – ice cream and hot chips. But being a Vegetarian and wanting to get Healthy my mindset is on a big learning curve. I am making the effort to walk for at least one hour every day, and still trying to get to the gym twic a week.
Will I succeed? Will be strong enough not to have that chocolate snack? Good question and one which I have to ask myself every single day….I know that with the help of a Meditation Cd called Beach Body Hypnosis, which David downloaded to my iPod and I am playing twice a day, I have a better chance then I did last week.
For those that don’t have to watch what you eat – you are so very lucky. You have no idea the tricks your mind plays when you are on a new challenge with Healthy Weight Loss.
Sunday is almost finished – one more day closer to my ideal weight.

Healthy Lifestyle Challenge is on a huge quest – a new journey of looking at how to have a lifestyle with being healthy and achieving a Healthy Weight Loss.
Walking To A Healthy Weight Loss

After working night shift last night I decided to walk along the beach in the morning. Once I started walking it seemed like I could not stop and kept on going. I ended up walking a fair distance, from the beginning of one end of Caloundra to Moffat Beach. Its amazing how much distance one can cover in one hour and 45 minutes!!
What Is A Healthy Weight Loss?
For someone to loss weight and keep the weight off, its really important to achieve your results slowly. If you go too fast and lose to much too quickly its likely that your body will not be able to handle the difference in weight….and soon you will slip up and the weight will come flying back on.
If you are after an idea about how to get out and about to lose weight the healthy way, check out your local area. This morning I was amazed to see many different groups meeting up together to exercise at the beach. It looked like so much fun and such a good idea I almost walked over to join the groups!! Here is a video that I made from this morning walk….
Along my way I discovered a plaque that is dedicated to Ma and Pa at Moffat Beach. They were in their late 40s early 50s when they decided to try Surfing for fun. They soon became so good that they were entering competitions and then they became the local team that everyone turned to for advice. How inspirational were they? They just got out there and had a go. They did not think about “Gosh we are too old to try surfing”….all they wanted was to have fun.
Walking To Success
It sure gave me inspiration this morning – walking to a Healthy Weight Loss is achievable. All I need to do is walk at least one hour a day, three or four times a weeks. So are you ready? Are you prepared to get off your backside and join me on a Healthy Weight Loss by walking every day?
